So why buy when you can rent cheap textbooks? Ohm�s law: resistance of object is constant, independent of voltage across it. So why do people talk about the uncertainty principle rather than the spreading principle? While a transverse wave has an alternating pattern of crests and troughs, a longitudinal wave has an alternating pattern of compressions and rarefactions.
