I would never have believed the support received both in Peru and from friends and acquaintances in other countries to make our project, the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, a growing reality. Urmul is another good example where the weavers themselves take all decisions including when necessary, the choice of designers who would be paid by the group itself.
